Hi. I'm Michele Martin and I'm responsible for this site.
Working with people to chart their best path for growth is my passion. I'm especially interested in how we can help people develop their skills in the 4 patterns of resilience: Clarifying, Connecting, Creating and Coping.
I'm a certified Career Development Instructor with over 20 years of experience in career, leadership and workforce development. I've worked for myself for the past 15 years and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I do work with both individuals and organizations. Here are a few of my organizational projects.
This is a 12-week program that helps individuals start their own businesses. I take them from idea to implementation, helping them minimize their startup costs and to maximize revenue. We're focused on creating a supportive community for entrepreneurship to thrive and helping new business people learn by doing! Currently I'm running this program for people who are unemployed in Bucks County, PA. You can learn more about it here.
As part of my work in resilience, I look to find new ways to bring people together around their passions and sparks. In this project, we brought youth development practitioners together to explore how we could use the arts, games, technology, etc. to teach young people about how to navigate social justice issues. It was a blast! You can learn more here.
Design thinking is a core resilience practice and I've been working with various organizations and programs to incorporate the design thinking process into their work. Here's how I pulled it together for the Philadelphia Youth Network.
I also do work with individuals through online and in-person workshops and group coaching.
